Run by the Woods family, quoted like an engineering office

MHS is a family run business at 8833 E Washington St. Brian Woods keeps the overhead low, and the people around him have spent decades in engineering, project work and the office.

Racking here is priced by the layout, so the first conversation is about your building: how high the steel can go, how long the bays run, what has to sit on the beams. That is engineering work before it is sales work, and it is why the company leans on people who have done it for a living.

Brian has more than thirty years across industrial engineering, sales and project management. His brother Bruce is a design engineer and project manager who spent twenty-five years as a project engineer at Fortune 500 companies. Annette runs the office and is the voice callers hear on the digital receptionist. Matthew handles the website, the marketing and the databases.

The crew behind them is described the same way on the company’s own site: very experienced in their respective positions. And the promise on the sales side is plain. “Our salesmen don’t just quote you and walk away, we see the project through from start to finish.” That covers the layout, the uprights fabricated to fit the building, delivery on the company’s trucks and the install.
